Chimwala Bush Camp
Chimwala Bush Camp at Liwonde National Park Tucked up against Chinguni hill and sheltered by a mixture of mopane and miombo trees, overlooking the floodplain.
The camp is constructed from local rock & thatch.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience the beauty of Malawi’s Wildlife in a small and safe camp.
The Camp is located in the South of the National Park.
The camp is operated by African Parks.
The camp can accommodate up to thirteen guests.
Eight guests in our four classic Meru Tents that is comfortable, spacious and en–suite.
Five guests in our family cottage consisting of two en-suite bedrooms with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen dining area
Chimwala Camp is on a self-catering basis.
The main area’s is an expansive thatched dining and lounge area for guests to socialise and relax.
Enjoy a laze around the pool with its magnificent views across the floodplain.
Liwonde National Park contains impressive elephant and hippo populations and multitudes of rare and colourful birds. Recently, cheetahs, lions and wild dogs have been reintroduced into the park.
Guests can spend an unforgettable time and have a great safari experience.
