WeAfrica drivers must meet specific requirements before hitting the streets. Once you complete your registration and your documents are verified, you’ll receive an email with the next steps to get activated. These instructions vary depending on the city and vehicle you’ll be driving in, so please follow them carefully.

The first time you go online, you’ll be prompted to verify yourself with a picture of your driving license and a selfie.

The overall idea of WeAfrica is simple – the more you drive, the more money goes into your pocket.

Driver earnings usually consist of passenger fares. But to help you earn extra, we have a bonus system that guarantees you higher earnings at different times of the day.

To qualify for a bonus, you must fulfill the requirements set for a specific bonus. These requirements may involve completing a minimum number of rides within a given period, maintaining a set acceptance rate, or achieving a high rating.

Look out for bonuses by checking the messages we send you — these give details on when and how you can earn money.

Bonuses are calculated and added to your earnings balance weekly. You’ll receive any bonuses alongside your regular payouts from WeAfrica.
